Welcome to your Kindergarten experience in education. Your kindergartener will be learning a lot this year.
Since you have entrusted me with your child‘s education you should know a little about me. I have been teaching for 38 years with 24 of them here at Paw Creek. Before coming to Paw Creek I taught both in Virginia and Ohio in private and public schools. I have taught fourth, first, kindergarten, pre-school, and second grade. When I started in CMS it was as an assistant in kindergarten, then first and fourth grade before I got my own second grade classroom. The past 3 years I have been teaching kindergarten. received my teaching degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee and my Masters Degree from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
I am committed to teaching children, but I know I cannot do it all alone. I need the partnership of parents, guardians, community, and other school personnel to help every child learn to their potential and beyond. The goal is for every child to gain at least a year’s growth in learning. I hope that every parent will join me in making their child’s year a very successful one.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. I check agenda’s daily for homework, reading record, and notes from home. You can also reach me through my school e-mail .
